Job Alert – Brussels back to School

The political summer has passed quickly in Brussels –  and the typical Belgian rain refreshes the brains of all those officials already back in town. Pre-summer issues remain for the rest of the year: election mode in Germany and other countries has its impact especially on the European Parliament, with MEPs campaigning and some taking up new roles in their home countries. Brussels continues to face the misery of Brexit negotiations – with three position papers of the British side now published, and industry hopes going up that an acceptable solution will be found in time. The Digital Single Market faces its next controversial milestone in Parliament with the upcoming votes on the e-privacy directive. In other words: back to usual, which is a good thing. On the other hand, migration and security remain the two big items on the plate of the Estonian presidency as well as in all upcoming national elections. The latest terror attack in Barcelona reminds everyone of the importance of these topics, and the EU needs to develop sensible answers that stop terror without yielding way to right-wing extremism.

If this is the game you are up to, find the latest jobs and as usual more on politjobs.eu!
