We are polisphere, a consulting network, ideas laboratory and navigator for modern politics. In our consulting projects, we support customers and partners in communicating their ideas in a target group-oriented and contemporary manner. With our research projects, we aim to improve political practice and communication. Through user-oriented service and editorial offerings, we create easier access to political operations – especially for a new generation of decision-makers. For the further development of our digital communication we are looking for a Head for our online communication (m/f/d) with immediate effect.
Head of Online Communication (m/f/d)
What we need you for
- Independent development of communication strategies and projects in our consulting and research operations as well as for our own formats
- Establishment and development of team structures in the field of communication
- Selective daily and pointed editing of own and external social media channels
- Developments of new (social media and digital) formats as well as websites in the political field
- Support for online events and collaboration formats
- Further development of our organizational communication
What we expect from you
- At least two years of full-time or part-time work experience in the political sector with a focus on digital communications
- Above-average prior political knowledge and interest
- Adept and confident with common social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram) and no question marks when TikTok, Reddit or Snapchat are mentioned
- Desire to give new impetus to the great socio-political debates of our time.
- Knowledge in conception and implementation of further formats such as newsletters, short videos, podcasts etc. advantageous
- Completed studies in political science, social science, communication science or business communication or a comparable field of study.
- Strength of opinion and argumentation
- Initiative, ability to work under pressure and time flexibility
- Above-average prior political knowledge and interest
- Very good English skills

- Support the operational team in all aspects of project and editorial operations
- Research on and analysis of socio-political issues
What we expect from you
- Ongoing studies in political science, social science, communication science or business communication or a comparable field of study (Enrollment required!)
- Great interest in political operation
- Strong communication skills in word, mail and tweet
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, Microsoft Office, and common social media platforms.
- Very good German & English skills
