Job Alert – Europe without a Vision

Europe without a vision and soon without a leader – that’s the essence of the past weeks. Commission president Juncker announced that he is not running for office in 2019 – and has thereby invited rumours about him leaving office even earlier. Additionally, the European Commission is postponing the vision for Europe that it had announced for March, and for the 60th birthday of the EU’s founding Treaty of Rome. Vision comes from other sides – Martin Schulz is developing his vision for Germany and gains strong support, Macron in France is doing the same, as well as Marine Le Pen and Geert Wilders. If they still believe in the achievements of the EU, our leaders should wake up quickly. We experience a re-nationalisation of politics that threatens the EU’s single market and the freedoms we agreed on – time to set a European agenda again that takes national worries on board but points to the positive aspects of a common market. A positive aspect for you could be a new job: as usual, find the latest jobs and more on politjobs.eu!
